Newsflash!  The Pharaohs Street Rodders Endless Summer Cruise-Ins will resume for 2018 beginning Wednesdays, June 6th and continue each Wednesday through September.  Stay tuned to the Pharaohs Facebook Page or this site for information about upcoming events, and improvements to our Website!

The Pharaohs Street Rodders continue to follow the missions and example of our late founder Keith “The Pharaoh” Preskey.

Through our Wednesday afternoon Endless Summer Cruise-In’s in historic downtown Gresham, and hosting the Annual Milwaukie Cruise-In, we are able to donate funds to support our selected Veterans Programs and charities.  In 2018 we were able to donate funds and provide support to, The Missing in America Project and The Lines For Life a Veteran’s support crisis line.  We also provided support to local community programs like the East Hill Church Youth Services, and the Angels on Wheels Toy Run for the Randall Children’s Hospital.

We are also very proud to continue to award two $500 cash awards to our chosen participants in the High School Challenge hosted by the Portland Roadster Show.  This we continue as the Keith “The Pharaoh” Preskey Memorial High School Challenge Awards.

The Pharaohs have vowed to keep Keith “The Pharaoh” Preskey’s legacy in the forefront of what we do and in continuation always.

New to us this year, we have chosen to provide our support and funding to American Military Encouragement Network, (A.M.E.N.).  AMEN provides food boxes each month to help Oregon’s returning Veterans and the families of deployed Veterans, by providing food boxes.  Currently they provide 250, 40 to 50 pound boxes of food to Oregon Veterans and their families each month.  This worthwhile effort is putting food on the tables of Veterans and we have chosen to support this cause.

The Pharaohs Street Rodders is a non-profit car club that promotes and attends Cruise-Ins and car shows throughout the Portland/Vancouver Area.  A large portion of the proceeds from our hosted events, go to our numerous Veterans based charitable missions.

Our primary mission is to lend support to Veterans based programs, like the MIAP (Missing in America Project)  http://www.miap.us  The MIAP identifies and inters the unclaimed cremated remains of American Veterans.  They provide honor and respect to those who have served this country by securing a final resting place for these forgotten heroes.

We also support the American Military Encouragement Network, (A.M.E.N.)  www.amen-project.org  This local, Oregon based non-profit puts together an average of 250, 40 to 50 pound food boxes per month for deployed veterans families.  This is putting food on the tables of those who are away serving this country.

Our club name, “Pharaohs” comes from the movie “American Graffiti”.  A movie that depicted teenagers Saturday night cruising and the hot-rod and car scene of the late fifties and early sixties.

The Pharaohs Street Rodders encourage and promote fun with hot-rods and classic cars, whether you choose it as a profession or a fun hobby.

Thank you to all that support our fund raising efforts and to those who join in fun with cars.  If you would like to join as a member of the Pharaohs Street Rodders, we invite you to fill out an application, just click on the tab “join us”.
